BOTY FACTS: The legendary Tex-Mex singer –songwriter Selena had one of her last concerts here at our very own backyard! Selena performed on March 11, 1995 at the International Amphitheater which was formally located on the west side of Halsted Street, at 42nd Street, adjacent to the Union Stock Yards. The International Amphitheater was an indoor arena, between 1934 and 1999. Selena was later killed by her manager in her hometown of Corpus Christi, TX on March 31, 1995.
